‘Pandem Kodi’ fame and Tamil Hero Vishal has a decent market in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. On the occasion of Diwali, Vishal Krishna starrer Pandianadu (Palnadu in Telugu) is going to release grandly on 2nd November. But unfortunately, the Tamil version of the film will not see its release in Karnataka as sandalwood film chamber imposed a temporary ban on Tamil movies.
Tamil movies, which enjoy huge popularity in Karnataka, are facing a temporary ban in the state this week, as it prepares to celebrate Kannada Rajyothsava on Friday. Another reason for the ban is the worsening tension between the two states over the Cauvery river-water sharing dispute. Three big-budget Tamil movies – Arrambam, All in All Azhagu Raja and Pandiya Nadu – will particularly suffer as a result of the ban
Lakshmi Menon is the heroine of the film and D Imman has composed the music. Suseendran is the director of the movie and Vishal has produced the film on his banner ‘Vishal Film Factory’.
