Indian filmmakers have this habit of getting inspired or copying the core points from foreign movies. It’s no different in Telugu. From Rajamouli to take any newbie filmmaker, almost everyone has their hands on foreign DVD’s. Regarded as the most talented writer in modern era, Trivikram Srinivas too lifts stories, dialogues and scenes from various sources. After making a film A.Aa from a novel Meena, Trivikram has reportedly copied a French film this time.
We don’t know how far this is true but it is heard that Trivikram’s Agnyaathavaasi is heavily inspired from a French film “The Heir Apparent”. This 2008 film itself was based on Belgian cartoon. The story is about a Prince (legal heir) who goes into exile to protect his financial empire after his father being murdered. If getting inspired from this French movie is true, we could make an assumption that actress Khushboo might have played a negative role in the film which has Boman Irani playing Pawan Kalyan’s father. Let’s see we have hit the right spot after the movie releases.
Agnyaathavaasi is produced by K.Radha Krishna. It has Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel in the female leads. The film is slated for January 10th release.
